Work together

Work together sits at the top of Harness. It uses the accounts in Settings → AI, not the comparison lanes below. Control names in this guide match the English interface.

Start a job

Prepare the accounts

Open AI accounts in Settings → AI and enable at least two accounts that can answer. Accounts that are resting, missing their CLI or using a duplicate sign-in are left out with a reason; Termiyo’s built-in hosted AI cannot join.

Choose the manager

In Work together, enter The job (up to 6,000 characters), choose Manager, then press Use all N accounts and review the confirmation. N is the number shown on the button. Without an available chosen manager, the first eligible account in your order manages; with fewer than two workers, the manager works too.

Who does what

Planning and dispatch

The manager plans the tasks and writes the final report, and its plan may name the account for a task; that account is offered the task first. Termiyo assigns the rest, tracks them and reassigns them. Each worker receives the job and its own brief, not the other workers’ results; there is no shared memory.

Limits and models

A run has at most 8 tasks and 6 simultaneous asks. Each press of Start or Continue allows at most 40 turns, including the manager and a turn reserved for the report. Model per task is on by default: Fast/Strong selection applies to Claude, Codex, Gemini and saved Anthropic keys; other accounts use their default model.

When an account stops

Handovers restart the task

A limit, sign-in failure, lock or switched-off account causes reassignment when another account is available. That account restarts from the task brief; partial output from the previous attempt does not travel with it.

Timeouts and results

A worker has five minutes per turn; a manager turn has three. A timeout or other error gets one retry on another account; a second such failure fails the task. Continue runs queued work and then the report. Copy as Markdown copies the job, tasks, results and report.

Text work and its limits

Check each account’s card

This is a text workflow, not a crew code-editing feature. Claude’s tools are off; Codex uses read-only mode and may read files or run commands that change nothing. Gemini uses plan mode with a policy denying all tools. Saved API keys return text. Termiyo cannot restrict ChatGPT CLI, Ollama or llm: those programs may still run commands or change files.

Allowance is not balanced

Each task spends the allowance of the account doing it; only Claude reports a turn’s cost. Termiyo does not balance tasks by remaining quota. Crew routing was tested with stand-ins, not real model calls.
