SFTP & files

A two-pane file browser over the connection you already have — no second login, no separate tool.

Open the file browser

Two panes

Open Files on a host to get a browser with the server on one side. A two-pane view puts your own computer beside it, so a transfer is a drag from one list to the other. Each pane has a filter box, and columns for name, size, mode and modified time.

No extra connection

The browser rides the session you already have open. If that connection drops, Termiyo says so rather than silently stalling, and the panes wait for it to come back.

Move files

Either direction

Drag files between the panes to upload or download. Running transfers show a count and a percentage; finished ones can be cleared from the list, and a failed one says why rather than disappearing.

When a file is already there

Replace, or upload only the new ones

If the target already has files of the same name, Termiyo asks before overwriting and offers to upload only the ones that are not already there. Each file it does replace keeps its owner and permissions.

Nothing half-written

An existing file stays exactly as it is until its new copy has fully arrived; only then is it swapped in. A transfer cut short does not leave a truncated file in place of the one that was there.

Stop a transfer

Cancel in flight

A transfer can be cancelled while it runs. Closing the file browser while transfers are still going asks first rather than abandoning them without a word.
